The damage in Stanly County caused by the June 13 storm is "worse than Hurricane Hugo" as described in a report by one emergency manager.

NCBM Disaster Relief teams have been working in Stanly and other counties helping disaster affected survivors clean up the debris.  Over  100 volunteer days have been posted so far in this event.  However, the need is so great.  We need additional cleanup and recovery teams to help finish the 90+ jobs in the area.

Feeding teams have served more than 600 meals; some to volunteers but most to survivors.

Please contact 704.550.1529 to make arrangements for your cleanup team or to serve as an individual.  The main need is for chainsaw teams and brush pullers.  Housing, food, and showers provided.

Thank you for serving the Lord through NCBM Disaster Relief.
