We have an urgent need for Disaster Recovery Units and teams.  Many have described Hurricane Matthew as a "Hurricane Floyd" type flood.  Indeed, the flooding was the same height or higher in some locations. Even today there are hundreds of people in shelters because they cannot go home.  Thousands are in hotels or rental property because their home is damaged.

After Hurricane Floyd, many churches and associations built recovery units to provide the tools and equipment necessary for cleanup, chainsaw, and rebuild. Even if your unit has not been out in a while, check the tires, clear out the spider webs and get a team together!

We need those units to respond now!  Please recruit a team and respond to the needs of hurting people in the Hurricane Matthew area.

Tom Vannoy is the current NCBM Disaster Recovery Coordinator. If you have trailer questions or need additional assistance, feel free to call him at 336.984.9632.

Thank you for your participation!
