National Mission Opportunities For 2013 Now Available
2013 mission opportunities are now available from our partners in Pennsylvania, Vermont, the Appalachian Region, Wyoming, New Mexico, and Hawaii. Requests include those for Vacation Bible School, Backyard Bible Clubs, Community Surveys, Servant Evangelism, Sports Camps, Cook Teams,  Construction, and more. Now is the time to secure a project for 2013. Pender Correctional Chapel
E xcavation begins, Monday, October 15.  Pray for this chapel to bring glory to God for many years to come.  Volunteer construction teams will be needed in some phases over the next 6-8 months. Watch for updates on skills needed at particular times. Also, contact Gaylon Moss, gmoss@ncbaptist.org, if you are interested in recruiting a team.


Guatemala Construction Teams Needed
Construction teams are needed throughout 2013 to complete the building of a Health Clinic and Training Center among the Quiche Indians of central Guatemala. The center will function as a medical clinic and will be devoted to changing communities and strengthening families by meeting physical and spiritual needs in the name of Christ.  The facility will be used to train Community Health Evangelists, midwives, pastors, youth, women, and children. Teams will work with a long-time missionary  and Guatemalans on-site to construct an adobe structure. The Family Missions Weekend at the Red Springs Missions Camp is designed for families to work together in missions activities. Mission projects will be age appropriate as well as engaging. Deep Impact Mission Weeks
Deep Impact Missions Weeks are pre-packaged week long mission experiences sponsored by NC Baptist Men that provides Middle and High School students and their leaders with the opportunity to: “Share God's love with people through word and deed.” Youth and leaders will participate in a variety of mission opportunities including construction, VBS/Day Camps, sports evangelism, servant evangelism, prayer walks, and others. Spring Fling Youth Retreat

RA Day at Caraway
RA Day at Caraway is for all NC RA’s to participate in fun competitions including field day events and a sail boat race.  This is a day event that includes lunch. Men’s Worship Rallies in November
Come join us for an evening of fellowship for men, that will include music, a spiritual challenge, discussion, and prayer. These rallies are designed to provide a time of meaningful worship as well as a model of how similar men’s meetings can be held in the local church. Every man and his pastor is invited. Meal begins at 6:15 pm, program at 7:00 pm. $5 Registration fee helps cover the cost of the meal. Registration deadline is one week prior to each event. Summer Staff at Camp Caraway
Do you know a mature high school upperclassmen or college age young man that is a committed Christian and loves the outdoors? Camp Caraway summer camps hire staff during June and July to serve as summer camp counselors and program staff. These young men will learn to share their faith through fun recreation and experiences that they facilitate.
