World Missions Week

World Missions Week- July 6-11, 2015
Are you interested in learning about exciting opportunities for involvement in state, national, and international missions? Then, World Missions Week is the place you want to be! Celebrative worship, small group time, and mission moments are but a small part of World Missions Week. Rush of Fools will be leading worship each evening. Ed Newton will be our pastor for the week. Inspirational and informative studies will be provided for all age groups (pre-school, children, youth, adults) as well. North Carolina Baptist Men coordinates this week with assistance from Campus Ministry and NC Woman’s Missionary Union. This is the only week of the summer at Caswell that offers programming for all age groups.

Ed Newton

Ed Newton

God has uniquely gifted Ed with an ability to connect with various age groups, personally and corporately. His communication style can be summarized as “passion with content” while seeking to inspire people to be passionate, dedicated followers of Christ. He and his wife (college sweetheart), Stephanie, and their four children—London, Lola, Liv, and Lawson—reside in Orlando, Florida. Ed serves in a support role as Staff Evangelist at First Baptist Church Central Florida, the Executive Director of the LIFT TOUR, and teaching faculty members of Student Leadership University in Orlando, Florida.
Rush of Fools

Rush of Fools

Each member of Rush of Fools has known since an early age they wanted to serve God with their lives and their music. Taking their name from 1 Corinthians 1:26-31, Rush Of Fools’ message of God’s mercy and grace is encapsulated in their debut single “Undo,” which has seen an extraordinary climb up the Christian radio charts. “Honestly, it’s amazing to us because there is nothing special about us,” Kevin Huguley says. “There is nothing great that we’ve done on our own. We’re not accomplished or well known. We’re just guys from Alabama who love music and love God. We want to exalt God’s glory in everything we do.”

Deep Impact 2015 Summer Missions Caswell

July 5-11, 2015
Deep Impact camp will combine the worship experience of summer youth camp with the “hands-on” missions experience of a mission trip. Each participant will choose from a wide selection of mission projects which they will be involved in throughout the week. Deep Impact camp is for adults and youth only (rising 7th-12th graders). No childcare will be available for this camp. All adults and youth will be expected to participant in a mission project. These mission projects will mainly be off campus and each church must provide drivers and transportation to and from the projects daily. All lodging is in the barracks and meals in the dining hall. Rush of Fools will be leading worship each evening. Ed Newton will be our pastor for the week.
