What We Provide

Our desire is for your mission trip to be rewarding to you and fruitful for the kingdom of God. This only happens if the Holy Spirit is at work throughout the process. We pray that for each team. In addition, there are some practical things that NC Baptist Men provide that helps make the experience a positive one:

	On-Site Coordinators. Mike and Ginger Greene serve as our on-site coordinators in Honduras year-round. The Greenes work with Honduran pastors to secure projects that meet our mission goals of showing God's love, reaching the lost for Christ, and strengthening the local church. They also make sure everything is ready for when your team arrives, including transportation, food, lodging, materials, tools, etc.
	Comfortable Housing. NCBM has a house just outside the capital of Tegucigalpa, in which our on-site coordinators live, giving them easy access to the airport, as well as needed materials and supplies. The team will stay at this house on their last night in the country. We also own a house in Choluteca. This will be the team's base for most of the week. The house includes kitchen, pantry, and dining area. Lodging includes a bunkhouse that sleeps ten and two bedrooms that sleep an additional four. Sleeping quarters have air-conditioning, bathrooms, and hot showers. Linens and towels are provided. The house also has a clothes washer that teams can use.
	Transportation. Teams are safely transported in a large air-conditioned van that has plenty of room for the team. Team luggage and supplies are transported in a Kia pick-up. We also own a Land Cruiser for teams who may serve in more remote areas, and a pickup used by the on-site coordinators. Our coordinators or a Honduran driver will transport teams.
	Project Support. Our on-site coordinators will make sure that materials have been ordered and will be on-site. They also work with the host church to have members at the site to work with the team in mixing "mud", laying block, or whatever else needs doing. A project coordinator will be on site to direct the work of the team and church members. We also have valuable Honduran employees who work at both houses, helping to make your stay a pleasant one. (Note: We do not provide translators, but if your team does not have one, you can talk with the Greenes about lining one up for you. The cost is about $120 per week.)
