Guatemala GU16-107

GU16-107
February 20-27, 2016

North Carolina Baptist Men (NCBM), working in partnership with International Indigenous Community Development (IICD), Baptist Children's Home of North Carolina, and the NC WMU, will send volunteer mission teams to central Guatemala, throughout 2016 to assist with construction and maintenance, evangelism, leadership development, youth congresses, medical, dental, and longer term service.

Teams may serve at the Good Shepherd Ministry Center, the Good Shepherd Children's Home, or in local villages and towns. Located in Quetzaltenango, these ministries primarily serve the Quiche people, who are the largest indigenous Mayan group in Guatemala.

Specific ministry tasks will be worked out between the team leader and missionaries on the field, and relayed to team members.
