SA18 - 22

November 8-19, 2018

North Carolina Baptist Men (NCBM), working in partnership with Door of Hope Infant Rescue and Orphanage, will send volunteer mission teams to the South Africa, throughout 2018 to assist with construction, evangelism, community ministry, church planting, and longer term ministry.  Teams may serve at the Village of Hope, located near Johannesburg, or in local villages and towns.

This team will serve as a Vision Team for those interested in possibly leading future teams, will visit the Door of Hope houses for rescued infants, and encourage church planters working among the Zulu.  We will spend time building cottages that will become homes for toddlers, visit and assist a pastor in the Wiinterton area, and hold eyeglass clinics in the Central Drakensburg region. Each cottage at Door of Hope Village will house six toddlers and a house parent or couple.  The eyeglass clinic will assist a church planter in Emmaus whose church has a preschool and is launching several otehr church planters in the surrounding area.

Cost will be airfare (purchased by NCBM) + $450 per person.  Team members will also be asked to raise funds that will be contributed to purchase building materials for the construction of Door of Hope Village and given to the church planter we will work with.
