One to two teams of 5 – 10 volunteers are needed to help local ministry host a community block party to draw additional people to Jesus Christ.  Road next to church will be closed to have a bandstand, BBQ, face painting, inflatable games, etc.  This outreach will be to effectively communicate services and the gospel to the lost.  Team will not only partner with ministry for evangelism but also work in soup kitchen for lunch on Tuesday and Thursday and for the coffee shop on Wednesday evening.  Volunteers with skills in music, face painting, fun games, and one-on-one evangelism are needed.  Team contributions for cost of materials would be greatly appreciated.  Team can stay at church and use kitchen. Church will provide lunch on Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday.  Note:  Team will be responsible for conducting professional background checks on all team members over the age of 18.  Team leaders will be sent information from NC Baptist Men concerning options for this.

Length of assignment:    One week

Cost:                               Travel to Vermont, food, materials
