Soup Kitchen Relocation
A team of volunteers is needed for Phase 2 of moving soup kitchen upstairs to second floor of building. Team will remove upstairs walls and move all restaurant equipment upstairs. Team will get equipment set up so cooking and serving can restart. Materials will be purchased by requestor, but donations appreciated. Team will need to provide their own transportation to Vermont. Twelve passenger van available if team needs to be picked up from airport. Housing available at Hoover Center or Washington Retreat Center. Contact requestor for details on how to reserve. Team will need to provide own food, but may use church kitchen. Lunch is provided on Sunday, Tuesday, and Thursday.
Length of assignment: One Week
Preferred dates: June - September 2017
Cost: Travel to Vermont, lodging, and food
