WE ARE NO LONGER SERVING IN LOUISIANA DISASTER RESPONSE.

Aug. 31: Volunteers continue to support the response in Louisiana assisting in 4 distinct ways:  Cleanup volunteers in Denham Springs, 2 Laundry units at a mega-shelter in Baton Rouge, a chaplaincy team will work from southeast Baton Rouge, while a feeding team will work from an area to the northeast of Baton Rouge. Please pray for these teams as they serve in Jesus name.

Update Aug. 27: By Sunday night approximately 30 people will be onsite to help with cleanup. In addition, 2 NCBM Disaster Relief Laundry units will be washing clothes for a shelter in Baton Rouge.  Follow us on Facebook to see photos: www.facebook.com/ncmissionsdisasterrelief.  To help, sign up by clicking on "Volunteer Now" in the sidebar.

Update Aug 21: Three Recovery/cleanup teams have signed up so far to work in Louisiana with 2 beginning later this week and 1 for week of August 28.  If you'd like to help, click on the "Volunteer Now" in the sidedbar.

August 17: Historic flooding in Louisiana has forced thousands of people to escape the damage.  As many of you know, Louisiana has seen significant flooding over the past several days reaching locations not flooded in recent memory.  We have been monitoring the flood and communicating with the Louisiana Baptist leadership offering assistance.

We have offered to send recovery teams to help those in need. Best projections are for the cleanup effort to last through mid-October and maybe longer.

Please pray for the affected homeowners, Louisiana Baptist leadership, and the many volunteers helping now and in the future.
