November 9, 2017 - The cleanup work is coming to a close and will likely be finished by Thanksgiving.  If you still want to help with disaster response please consider rebuild choices in North Carolina and Texas.  For NC rebuild, click here.  For TX, click here.

October 25, 2017 - Cleanup is the main work at this time on Big Pine Key, Florida.  Over 150 cleanup jobs have been completed and 242,000 hot meals prepared.  Cleanup teams are still needed. Use the "Get Involved" link to sign up.

September 28, 2017 - Feeding and cleanup teams are hard at work on Big Pine Key, Florida.  Meal counts continue to hover around 5,000-6,000 per day.  Over 100 volunteers are working each day to meet the needs.

September 22, 2017 - The feeding unit was moved to Big Pine Key earlier this week in order to get closer to the greatest needs.  Currently, teams are preparing approximately 9,000 meals per day.  In addition, assessment teams are gathering work orders for the recovery teams to help with chainsaw and tearout work.  If you'd like to help, click on the "Volunteer Now" link in the sidebar.

September 13, 2017 - NC Disaster Relief Feeding Unit 2 (30,000/meals per day) arrived today in Miami along with a water tanker and additional support equipment and teams.  Additional volunteers arrive tomorrow to help prepare the site and equipment for helping those affected by Hurricane Irma.  Most of the work will be in southern Florida and the Keys. Sign up to help using the "Volunter Now" link in the sidebar.

September 12, 2017- NC Baptist Disaster Relief volunteers are traveling today to Florida to assist with Hurricane Irma relief efforts. Please keep these volunteers in your prayers. We have been asked (by Florida Baptist Disaster leaders) to set up one of our big feeding units (Unit 2- capable of doing 30,000 meals a day) in the South Miami area. We will be providing meals for people in South Florida (all the way to the Florida Keys).

September 9, 2017 - NCBM Disaster Relief volunteers and equipment are preparing to meet the needs of Hurricane Irma survivors. Irma is a massive storm that will cause catastrophic damage. It is extremely rare to have two deadly storms hit the United States within two weeks.
Consider downloading this new disaster relief update video and showing it during your service this Sunday. It is less than two minutes long, but it is a powerful way to show the need, what God is doing and how we can help. You can view and download the video at https://vimeo.com/233019497
Individuals can help by praying, giving and going. We appreciate your support for Hurricane Harvey, and we ask you to do the same for the Hurricane Irma response.
Pray for those in the path of Hurricane Irma. Pray that we will be the hands and feet of Jesus, and pray for the volunteers who will be going to assist.
Give to help those in need. We have established a Hurricane Irma fund. To make a contribution, please make your check payable to NCBM/Baptists On Mission, designated for Hurricane Irma Disaster Relief, and mail to: NCBM, Baptist State Convention of North Carolina, P.O. Box 1107, Cary, NC 27512. You may also give online.
Also, please support the North Carolina Missions Offering (NCMO). All of NCBM’s regular budget comes from the NCMO.
