Baptists on Mission exists to Glorify God by involving churches and Christians in meeting human needs in Jesus’ name
July 3-8, 2023 World Missions Week is one of the original historically celebrated summer weeks at Fort Caswell. This summer we will offer programming for Kindergarten through Adult. We aim for quality Bible studies, missions learning opportunities, exceptional preaching and life-enriching worship. Interact with missionaries and church leaders as they share about exciting opportunities for involvement in state, national, and international missions. Tom Richter -- http://tomrichter.com/ - Pastor of Cullman, Alabama First Baptist Church will be camp pastor. Tom and First Baptist have a rich history of ministry and missions. The Museum -- http://themuseummusic.com - will lead in musical worship. The band members will tell you they are just a group of guys who love music and love God. Since their beginning in 2008 The Museum has garnered national and international attention for their music and servant attitude. The Museum strives to impact this generation by leading people to encounter Jesus Christ in worship through music. This vision was born out of the local church and guided by the call in Micah 6:8 to act justly, love mercy and walk humbly with our God. As Christ followers and musicians, we want to craft songs and lead worship experiences that inspire people to live a life of worship. Our hope is that our worship would never be confined to the walls of a church, but would lead us to serve the world around us and love people in the way Christ has called us to.
July 2-8, 2023 Deep Impact camp will combine the worship experience of summer youth camp with the “hands-on” missions experience of a mission trip. Each participant will choose from a wide selection of mission projects which they will be involved in throughout the week. Deep Impact camp is for adults and youth only (rising 7th-12th graders). No childcare will be available for this camp. All adults and youth will be expected to participant in a mission project. These mission projects will mainly be off campus and each church must provide drivers and transportation to and from the projects daily. The Museum (themuseummusic.com) will lead musical worship each day and evening and Tom Richter (http://tomrichter.com) will be our pastor for the week.
