The Birmingham, Ala., based band takes their name from 1 Corinthians 1:26-31. Rush of Fools' message of God's mercy and grace is encapsulated in their debut single, "Undo" which has seen an extraordinary climb up the Christian radio charts. The songs on "Carry Us Now" illustrate their journey through the seasons of mourning and celebration. It's Jesus that carries us, and becomes the Hero of our story. The hands of Jesus that carried the cross to His death are the very hands that carry us now. And that’s the story we live to tell. The band members are just a group of guys who love music and love God. They seek to exalt God's glory in everything they do.
July 3-9, 2022 Deep Impact camp will combine the worship experience of summer youth camp with the “hands-on” missions experience of a mission trip. Each participant will choose from a wide selection of mission projects which they will be involved in throughout the week. Deep Impact camp is for adults and youth only (rising 7th-12th graders). No childcare will be available for this camp. All adults and youth will be expected to participant in a mission project. These mission projects will mainly be off campus and each church must provide drivers and transportation to and from the projects daily. Rush of Fools (www.rushoffools.com) will lead musical worship each day and evening and Tom Richter (http://tomrichter.com) will be our pastor for the week.
