**Please perform all activities utilizing social distancing, cough and sneeze precautions, and good hand washing. Everyone is encouraged to engage in a culture of prevention, in an effort to stop the spread of the virus** Common symptoms of the Coronavirus may include fever, cough, and shortness of breath. If you are exhibiting symptoms, please call your healthcare provider for advice. They may direct you to either stay at home or to proceed to a testing site depending on your symptoms.
If you become sick, don’t panic. There are some things you can do to help prevent the spread of the disease and treat your symptoms at home.
Stay home. Avoid public areas and public transportation.
At home, stay in a separate room from others and use a separate bathroom if possible.
If you are sick, wear a facemask when around other people.
Use a tissue if you cough or sneeze. Immediately throw the tissue away.
Wash your hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, or use hand sanitizer
(At any time, if your symptoms get worse and you are unable to control your fever, you develop pain in your chest, you become confused, or breathing becomes more difficult, contact your healthcare provider immediately)
Rest
Stay hydrated. Drink plenty of water.
Acetaminophen(Tylenol) 325mg tablets and Ibuprofen (Advil) 200mg tablets can be used for fever and pain.
