Baptists on Mission exists to Glorify God by involving churches and Christians in meeting human needs in Jesus’ name
Hurricane Debby, now Tropical Storm Debby, has impacted the Southeast United States over the past few days. North Carolina has experienced significant rainfall. At this time we do not know how or if we will respond. If you want to respond in the ministry you are trained in (EXCEPT RECOVERY), please email your DR ministry leader of your availability. IF YOU ARE wanting to respond to recovery please complete the VOLUNTEER NOW tab to the right. Once we have more information we will send you an email with that information. To give to this event, please click on the GIVE NOW tab to the right. Thank you for your prayers as we are assessing damage and planning for the best ways to respond to damage caused by Tropical Storm Debby. NC has experienced tornados and heavy rainfall in certain areas. We know that some of the rivers (North Cape Fear and Lumber and others) are at flood stage and have yet to crest. It will be 2-3 days before some of the flooded rivers crest and we know if mass feeding will be needed in those communities. We feel certain that we will be doing mud outs and tear outs as soon as the waters recede. Please click on the Get Involved button to the right.
BOM Disaster Relief is funded primarily by donations. 100% of your designated gift will be used in disaster relief efforts.
