NC Disaster Relief will deploy a small feeding team, a laundry unit, recovery unit, generator and chainsaw teams to do this work. NC Disaster Relief will coordinate these efforts out of Hillvue Heights Baptist Church in Bowling Green, KY. Thank you for praying, giving and going. Please pray for the people who were affected by the tornadoes as well as the volunteers who will be helping. Donations and volunteers will be needed. Saturday, December 18 Update - Thanks to the overwhelming response of volunteers from North Carolina, our initial work of chainsaw, temporary roof repair and debris removal will be complete by Wednesday, December 22. We are so blessed to have had over 100 volunteers each day. Once we compile all the statistics and numbers of how our volunteers responded we will update here. If we are asked to assist in other ways in Kentucky we will communicate from this site. Thanks again for all the ways so many people prayed and were willing to go to Kentucky. 100 % of all donations will be used for those affected by the tornados. THANKS EVERYONE for the ways you have responded.
