Disaster Response Alert – Central North Carolina

Central North Carolina is currently under a Level 4 out of 5 severe weather threat for Monday, March 16, 2026. Due to the potential for significant storms, all Disaster Relief volunteers are now on ALERT status.

Weather forecasts indicate the possibility of damaging winds, heavy rain, tornadoes, and widespread power outages across parts of the region. Our leadership team is actively monitoring conditions and preparing to respond if communities are impacted.

At this time, we are asking all Disaster Relief volunteers to:

  • Watch your email closely for deployment instructions or updates.
  • Review your availability in case Disaster Relief sites are activated.
  • Ensure your equipment and gear are ready should you be called to serve.
  • Pray for those who may be impacted and for the safety of responders.

If conditions warrant, Disaster Relief sites may be established quickly to provide chainsaw recovery, feeding units, cleanup assistance, and spiritual care for affected communities.

Additional updates will be shared as conditions develop.

Thank you for your willingness to serve and for being ready to respond when needs arise.
