Sometimes, serving others mean rolling up our sleeves and working up a sweat. Construction projects allow involvement from those who may not usually see themselves as skilled workers. With ministries like the Handyman Ministry, you can help make life easier and even possible for the physically challenged and financially burdened.
The handyman ministry takes 'lending a helping hand' literally. This ministry attends to those who need help with repairs or projects around the house. Services could be extended to senior citizens, widows, persons with physical handicaps, etc. Projects could include: minor painting, light bulb replacement, air filters change, small plumbing or electrical jobs, yard cleanup, handicap ramp installation and gutter cleaning. Where there is a need, no job is too small.
Project Details
We do not usually think twice when we enter and exit our homes, but for those who are wheelchair-bound, it could be a tedious task. A wheelchair ramp ministry allows easier access and increased mobility for those with disabilities.
