Pennsylvania

A initial list of Pennsylvania-South Jersey Partnership projects for 2027 is available for your prayerful consideration!  CLICK HERE to see the current list of opportunities. And, check back often, as projects are added as they are recieved!

Since 2007, NC mission teams have served throughout Pennsylvania and South Jersey in a variety of ways, including VBS, sports camps, backyard Bible clubs, block parties, music outreach, new construction, renovation, and more. Our teams serve alongside church planters and pastors, in both rural and urban areas. In addition to ministry expertise and resources, volunteer teams offer Christian encouragement and prayer - a valuable resource in a region where there is not a evangelical church on every corner. There is great excitement for the contribution volunteer mission teams are making in Pennsylvania-South Jersey!

NEEDS HIGHLIGHT - A team is needed to assist church in conducting outreach activities to senior adults in their community. A new housing development recently opened next to their church and this would be a key target population. Could involve visitation, prayer, music, Bible studies, “seniorcise”, game night, or any other activity. Pastor has a plan, but is open to discussing any other ideas the team leader may have as well. Team can stay in the church building if they desire. Kitchen is available for team's use.  Contact Mark Abernathy at 919-459-5607 or mabernathy@ncbaptist.org if you can help. Thank you!

Dewey and Kathie Aiken are Baptists on Mission On-Site Coordinators for the Pennsylvania Partnership. The Aikens combine a deep passion for showing the love of Christ to others with a clear understanding of the needs of mission teams. We are delighted to work with Dewey and Kathie in this. Please keep the Aikens in your prayers.

Pennsylvania-South Jersey offers North Carolina Baptists an opportunity to serve Christ in a much-needed area of our nation. We will need teams to serve in 2026 throughout the area. Please pray about your participation in this ministry!
