9-1-2019 Update
As Hurricane Dorian moves toward the Bahamas, Florida, Georgia and the Carolinas, we are anticipating what will probably be a very devastating storm. Forecasters are predicting at least a category 3 or 4 storm that will probably make landfall.

We have asked our NC Disaster Relief volunteers to prepare to serve, including feeding, recovery, chainsaw, shower, chaplain, temporary roofing, child care and laundry teams.

After a disaster, people and families are searching for help and answers. God cares deeply about the hurting, and, as His followers, our volunteers do as well.

Pray for those who are preparing for the storm and those who will experience it. Pray for God's protection and comforting hand upon their lives. Pray for wisdom, strength and sensitivity on the part of those who respond after the storm.
