10-9-2019 Hurricane Dorian Update
We have finished and closed the disaster relief sites at Hatteras and Atlantic. Feeding will continue on Ocracoke until October 12. Thank you to all who have volunteered and served in disaster relief efforts from Hurricane Dorian in Atlantic, Hatteras and Ocracoke. We are still in need of Hurricane Florence rebuild volunteers in the following areas: Lumberton, Wilmington, New Bern, Duplin and Pender Counties. 9-28-2019 Hurricane Dorian Update
We have finished and closed the disaster sites at Hatteras and Atlantic. Feeding will continue on Ocracoke for two more weeks (October 12). Laundry and shower, admin and other support will also continue on Ocracoke until October 12. We should finish all recovery work (mud outs, tear outs and chainsaw jobs) at all sites within the next few days.

9-17-2019 Hurricane Dorian Update
Continue to pray for people who were affected by Dorian and for our volunteers. We have been working in three areas along the NC outer banks.
 
Atlantic, NC- Right now we are still set up and are doing recovery out of Atlantic, NC to serve Cedar Island.  We are working out of Atlantic Missionary Baptist Church. We also have a logistic, chaplain and admin teams working there.
 
Hatteras, NC- We have a recovery operation site at Cape Hatteras.  Recovery teams are doing mud-outs and tear-outs. We also have logistic, chaplain and admin teams there.
 
Ocracoke, NC- We have four large shower units, three laundry units, generators and a water tanker unit all serving on Ocracoke right now. We have also set up Feeding Kitchen 4 and are cooking hot meals on Ocracoke Island. Mud-out and tear-out teams are needed on Ocracoke.

As you pray, pray for those who were affected by the storm. Pray for God's protection and comforting hand upon their lives. Pray for wisdom, strength and sensitivity on the part of those who are responding.
