Hawaii-Pacific

Baptists on Mission is in partnership with the Hawaii-Pacific Baptist Convention. Primary is our relationship with the Puu Kahea Baptist Conference Center on the island of Oahu. The conference center is a major ministry resource for Hawaii Baptist congregations, training their members for ministry, and ministering to children and youth during the summer. Week-long mission teams serve through maintenance and light construction projects. In addition, there is opportunity for couples to serve for 1-2 months as assistant camp directors. Other equests from Hawaii congregations may include VBS, backyard Bible clubs, music, sports, construction, and more. The Hawaiian Islands have long been the "gateway" to the US for many coming from East Asia. Please be in prayer about how you and your church may assist in reaching the lost in Hawaii for Christ.

UPDATES:
- Some disaster relief teams have served in Maui doing ash-out and chaplaincy work. There is a possiblity that there may be opportunity for others to serve in the future.

- The Puu Kahea Conference Center, where so many of our teams and couples have served in the past, closed for COVID-19, and has at this time, not reopened. We are hopeful that the camp may reopen and that we will once again be able to send volunteers to serve here.
