Variety of Outreach/Children’s Ministry/Evangelism Projects

Teams of 8-15 volunteers are requested to conduct activities such as BYBC, block parties, prayer walking, ladies craft night or other such events, servant evangelism projects. If team comes toward end of summer, back to school events, such as block party with school supplies distributed and free haircuts.  Other activities may include visiting nursing homes, light construction projects, painting, building handicap ramp, small home repairs, landscaping at mission center. The goal is to minister spiritually to the community, to lead people to salvation, and to encourage hurting people with the love of Jesus. Areas targeted will be a nearby housing complex, a local state park campground and construction or repairs within the county. Housing options include: local hotel, cabins, possibly staying in nearby churches. Small groups may be able to stay at the ministry center. Team will do own meals, but ministry center kitchen is available. Note:  Teams working with children or youth will be responsible for conducting professional background checks on all team members over the age of 18.  Team leaders will be sent information from NCBM concerning options for this.

Length of assignment:         One week
