Triangle East Associaiton

November 11-18, 2023

Triangle East Baptist Association, working with NC Baptists on Mission, are developing a partnership with evangelical churches in the city and region of Uspantan, Guatemala. Mutually agreed-upon projects will be developed, and may include children's ministry, leadership training, community service, medical, and more. All planned projects will be communicated with the BOM office, and with Roger Grossmann, missionary in Guatemala.  

Baptists on Mission will arrange airfare, insurance, and in-country logistics for all teams. Unless staying and eating meals in local hotels, each team should bring 1-2 people who will be in charge of cooking for the week (or rotate that task between team members). Once on the field, team can buy needed groceries in town.

Please note that travelers will need a current passport that has at least six months remaining on it from time of departure. All volunteers must be 18 to participate (16 IF accompanied by a parent or legal guardian). Immunizations include up to date on tetanus and hepatitis A. (Malaria and Typhoid are not required as you will be serving at 6000 feet).
