Sports Camp/Light Construction

Team of volunteers needed to provide gospel centered sports event in two local parks.  Team will need to provide their own sports equipment.  There will also be opportunity for light construction and servant evangelism projects in the community. (IF team serves June 18, they can also help out with SummerFest kids’ activities.) Requestor can talk with team leader about all details. Team will need to provide their own transportation.  Lodging available at local church.  Church also has kitchen that can be used but team will need to provide their own food.  Note:  Team members working with children will be responsible for conducting professional background checks on all team members over the age of 18.  Team leaders will be sent information from NC Baptist Men concerning options for this.
Length of assignment:   one week
Preferred dates:              June 18 – 23 or August 6 – 11, 2017 preferred (but flexible)
Cost:                                  Travel to PA, food, and sports/ministry equipment
