Community Garden/Outreach Projects/Church Maintenance

A team is needed to help establish a community garden and help train people from the community to maintain it. Agricultural background helpful but not required (just “green thumb”). Requestor may also work out other outreach ministries with team leader. A love of God and a burden for the lost is most needed. Maintenance projects could include sidewalk construction and/or general maintenance to the church building. Materials will be provided by requesting church. Lodging is provided by the church. Showers available on site as well as a kitchen to prepare meals. An outside pavilion is available for team to enjoy. Team to provide their own meals and transportation. Note: Teams working with children and youth will be responsible for conducting professional background checks on all members over the age of 18. Team leader will be sent information from NCBM concerning options for this.
