Construction of All-Weather Fire Pit
Tajique, New Mexico

A team of 6-12 volunteers is needed to construct an all-weather fire pit for youth camp. Will include removing grass turf around area, building a rock and mortar fire pit, constructing permanent benches, placing gravel around the pit and benches. Camp will provide all materials costs. Gender specific cabins are provided for lodging. Camp provides bed linens and pillows, but team should bring towels and toiletries. Food will be provided. Team can use camp kitchen for food preparation. Team will need to rent a vehicle to get from airport to the camp.

Length of assignment:       One week
Preferred dates:                  August-October 2021; April-May 2022
Cost:                                      Travel to New Mexico; vehicle rental (if flying)
