Building Renovation for Church

Multiple teams of volunteers with various construction skills are requested to help urban church plant with major renovation project.. Church currently serves thousands of meals annually to hungry people, coats to children, sports camps in the summer, jobs for youth, after school ministry, celebrate recovery all in the context of sharing the gospel of love of Jesus Christ in our community. This is Phase Two of a previously vacant building that is now being used as a permanent church home. In this phase, which is in a different part of the building, tasks may include: Interior demolition, a flat roof removed and a new roof constructed. We also need window/door installations, drywall hanging, insulation, plumbing, electrical, lead paint removal, framing and HVAC.  Electric and plumbing permits are already pulled with a professional project manager. He is available for consultation with potential team leaders  and pre-trips.  Three local churches are available with showers and kitchens for use free of charge. Another charges $2 per night.  Teams need to provide and cook their own meals, some lunches will be provided on-site. Any financial contributions toward building materials would be greatly appreciated.
