Teams of 10 – 30 volunteers are needed to assist church in community outreach as well as light construction work.  Teams are needed to assist with VBS, lead BYBCs and do community visitation and survey, possible revival.  Teams are also needed for light construction work in Sanctuary.  This includes drywall finishing, painting, and trim out windows that were never completed.  Church also has Bible Based Community Gardening outreach for teams led in this area.  Team to provide material costs.  Contact requestor for details. Team may stay at church but there are no showers.  Campgrounds and local state parks are nearby. Teams may stay with church families.  Team will need to provide own food but may use church’s kitchen   Note:  For teams who plan to do VBS and block parties you will be responsible for conducting professional background checks on all team members over the age of 18.  Team leaders will be sent information from NC Baptist Men concerning options for this.
Length of assignment:    one week
Preferred Dates:             May to October 2015
Costs:                             Travel to West Virginia, lodging, food, and ministry materials
