NC Coastal Flooding Update- September 18, 2024

The NC coast experienced significant rainfall on September 16 and 17 from a weather low that formed right off our coast. Some areas had up to 18 inches of rain. Brunswick County sustained the most rain. We are setting up two recovery sites, opening today (September 18), in Leland and Southport. For those that want to help in our recovery effort please click on the link below. Please provide us with dates you want to serve and how many people are on your team. If you are trained in a DR ministry other than recovery please send an email to your ministry leader letting them know you can serve.

Disaster Relief assessors are going into affected areas today to identify the greatest needs. Because you pray, give (to the NC Missions Offering) and you go, we are responding and prepared to respond in greater ways as needed. God has blessed us with great equipment and volunteers and we are called to use these resources to help people in Jesus’ name.  God has blessed us and calls us to be a blessing to others.

Please pray for people who are affected by this NC Coastal flooding as well as our volunteers who are serving them in Jesus’ name.
