Dear N.C. Baptist Churches & Volunteers,

Baptists on Mission is responding in the aftermath of Hurricane Helene in western North Carolina with feeding and recovery operations in many locations. The devastation is enormous, and the needs are great. We will be responding to this storm for years to come. Many people want to respond right now but there will be an even greater need for volunteers in the weeks to come. Please be patient as we make assignments and additional sites open up. Here are some ways you and your church can help, now and in the future.

Pray

Please consider having a prayer time during your service this Sunday to pray for those affected by Helene and the volunteers who are serving. We’ve produced a video showing how volunteers from N.C. Baptist churches like yours are meeting needs in Jesus’ name and how you can pray and support these efforts. Consider downloading it to show in your service this Sunday and share it on social media.

• Pray for families who lost loved ones.
• Pray for those who lost everything they own.
• Pray for Western NC churches.
• Pray that the volunteers will be the hands and feet of Jesus to hurting people.
• Pray that God will be glorified and made known through all that is done.

You may give directly to the Hurricane Helene relief fund where 100% of gifts will be used to help those in need. To give online or get instructions for giving by check, click the button below.
