Every year churches and individuals across North Carolina collect backpacks of needed items to be shared with children in the Appalachian region. For some, it may be the only Christmas gift they receive. Your participation will mean so much and may make an eternal difference in a child’s life!

Our goal for this year is to provide 24,000 backpacks to children in need. The statewide collection date will be Saturday, November 1, 2025. Collection areas will be set up across the state for churches to bring their backpacks. Won’t you join us in this effort to share Christ with Appalachian families this year?
