We have set up a disaster recovery site in Durham for mud out/tear out of homes due to Tropical Storm Chantal. We are working hard to try to finish these jobs by sometime in early August. For the next two weeks we are pushing to get as many volunteers as possible to serve so we can finish up this important work. Everyone is welcome and needed but we especially need teams with some experience to help us get to the finish line. Our volunteers have made a huge impact so far and we are very thankful for their work. The following link allows you to sign up as a team or individual to serve in Recovery. We have lodging, meals, showers and laundry for you. Training is very helpful, but you do not need to be trained to do disaster recovery. Once you sign up to volunteer you will receive a packet of information that contains location, address, phone number and email address of the site as well as what else to expect. Thank you! |
