Twenty months after Hurricane Helene swept through western North Carolina, we continue to witness God’s powerful work transforming lives and communities in its wake. Our 5 rebuild centers provide volunteers lodging, meals and projects in Boone, Spruce Pine, Burnsville, East Flat Rock and Black Mountain. 

In those 20 months, volunteers have worked nonstop and the numbers show it.

One of the priorities of Baptists on Mission is accountability to God for every dollar spent on these projects. Recently Asheville TV station WLOS aired a story including a report by the NC State Auditors office applauding the work of our volunteers. 

We’d like to thank the thousands of volunteers who’ve answered the call to help our neighbors in the mountains. At this point we’ll still be working in western NC for at least three to four more years. Please encourage your church to join us as we offer RELIEF FOR TODAY AND HOPE FOR TOMORROW
