Expanding Our Reach in Western North Carolina
As we continue rebuilding homes and lives in western North Carolina after Hurricane Helene, we are thrilled to announce the opening of our newest facility located in Marion. Centrally located, this center will dramatically improve how we coordinate projects from Morganton to Swannanoa and will support all of our efforts in western NC.
Purchased with the help of a generous anonymous donor, this incredible property will serve several vital functions:
STORAGE:
With 90,000 square feet of storage space, we can now purchase building materials in bulk. This will save tens of thousands of dollars and allow us to efficiently distribute supplies to our other rebuild sites in:

EQUIPMENT STORAGE:
The site can store and maintain some of our disaster response equipment, as well as one of our mobile dental and health screening units.
VOLUNTEER HOUSING:
The facility is equipped to house and feed up to 80 volunteers at a time, who will be working hard to restore homes in McDowell and surrounding areas.
Looking to the Future
Once our Hurricane Helene rebuilding efforts are complete, this facility will transition into a permanent missions center – continuing to serve the region much like our mission centers in Rose Hill, Red Springs and Shelby.
We are excited to see what God has in store for this new location as we encourage and involve churches and Christians in meeting human needs in Jesus’ name.
