NCBM Disaster Relief has been monitoring the weather and adjusting our response plans accordingly. In addition, we have been in daily communications with disaster relief partners and local and state emergency management officials. Initial assessments will begin Tuesday in southeast North Carolina when safe to do so in order to determine the scale and scope of damage. We will tailor our response based on need. We have been alerted by South Carolina Baptists that there is the strong probability of assisting them with response to the devastating floods they’ve experienced over the last few days. We have offered to help in any way possible and will respond when it is appropriate to do so. The flooding is expected to last for some time. To designate your gifts to assist with the Carolina Flooding 2015 response, please make a check out to NCBM Disaster Relief and mark it for Carolina Flooding 2015. Mail it to, NCBM, P.O. Box 1107, Cary, NC 27512. Or, you can give on online at www.baptistsonmission.org/ For more information please visit our webpage, www.baptistsonmission.org/ |
