Flooding in South Carolina
Historic, record flooding in South Carolina affected thousands of homes between Columbia and the coast in early October.  NCBM Disaster Relief setup first in Brunswick County, NC to assist with cleanout of flooded homes.  Then, we were invited by SC Baptists to setup first in Horry County and then later in Florence County.  At this time we have 3 sites in operation: Longs, Johnsonville, and Socastee. To date, over 113 jobs have been completed, 10,000+ meals prepared and 1,642 volunteer days served in this response.  However, the work is not complete.  Flood waters in some areas are just starting to recede.  We plan on being involved for the long haul.  Please develop a team and sign up at www.baptistsonmission.org/carolinaflooding2015.

Baptist Builders/ River of Life

Least of These Projects
Through Least of These Projects you, your church, or your association can make an eternal impact in the lives of people in some of the most desperate situations in the world.  NCBM works with local churches to drill wells in India; sponsor church planters in Haiti, Africa, and Armenia; rescue abandoned infants in South Africa; build homes in Kenya that will host Bible studies; and meet many other physical needs as an avenue to penetrate the spiritual darkness.  Learn more or make a donation at baptistsonmission.org/Donate

Red Springs and Shelby Mission Camps
Teams serving at Red Springs and Shelby Mission Camps have the opportunity to make an impact on people's lives. The Mission Camp Leadership will identify a project based on the current need and the skills of your team. While the service provided by teams is important in and of itself, the opportunity to build relationships, pray for, and minister to the community is the real purpose of the Mission Camps. For more information on the Red Springs Mission Camp go to http://baptistsonmission.org/camps/red-springs-mission-camp for more information on the Shelby Mission Camp go to http://baptistsonmission.org/camps/shelby-mission-camp

Pennsylvania Needs BYBC and Outreach Teams
Several church planters in Pennsylvania have asked for NC Churches to assist them in conducting Backyard Bible Clubs, Sports Clinics, and other outreach for the summer of 2016.  There are also some construction needs. Mission teams play a strategic part in helping a church planter establish a Gospel presence in the community they are working in. Please pray about responding to these urgent needs! For more information, contact Mark Abernathy at 919-459-5607 or mabernathy@ncbaptist.org,  or go to our website at:  http://baptistsonmission.org/Missions/United-States/Pennsylvania
