Dear Baptist Church Leaders and Volunteers,

Would you be a part of a network of churches who are ministering to isolated people in their community? We are working to connect local churches to isolated people in their community so that we can minister to them. We are getting requests from people who are COVID-19 high risk, for the following type needs: Meals and shopping delivery; Wellness checks, Prescription pick-ups; and Food for Pets. Most of the time the isolated person can pay for groceries or medicines, they just need someone to pick them up and leave them on the door step. Most of these requests are one time requests and you can choose to accept or not accept the request that come to you.

We ask that all volunteers perform all activities utilizing social distancing, cough and sneeze precautions, and use good hand washing. Everyone is encouraged to engage in a culture of prevention, in an effort to stop the spread of the virus.

If you or your church is willing to help, please complete the form on the link below.

If your church is already involved in Coronavirus ministry, we would like to know about this as well so that we can share your story and encourage you by providing helpful resources and best practices. Use the same link above to register your church.

We do have excellent Covid-19 resources including short training videos, safety protocols to protect your volunteers and the people that you are ministering to, planning ideas and a page for people who are isolated. To access these resources go to www.baptistsonmission.org/coronavirus .

This uncertain time is a great opportunity to share the love of Christ with hurting people. Please become a part of this network of churches who are impacting their community. Esther 4:14 “And who knows but that you have come to your position for such a time as this?”
