8/6/2020- Hurricane Isaias Update

Brunswick County – We are working to set up a recovery operation in Brunswick County, hopefully in the Southport and Belville areas. Work will include chainsaw, brush cleanup and some roof tarping. Please email Jimmy Lawrence at jimmy.lawrence@ncmissions.org for more information or to volunteer.

New Hanover County
We are working on disaster recovery projects through our Region 3 coordinator and our Wilmington Rebuild site. Work includes chainsaw, brush cleanup and some roof tarping. For those wanting to volunteer please contact Carey Fleming at ncbmregion3@gmail.com.

Bertie County
A recovery site has been set up at Cashie Baptist Church in Windsor. Work includes chainsaw, brush cleanup and some roof tarping. Alan Harris is our site coordinator. To volunteer please contact Alan at h.isaias.windsor@ncmissions.org  or (252)484-0284.

Bertie County Feeding
We are setting up a small feeding operation for Bertie County. We will be preparing the meals at Memorial Baptist in Williamston and delivering them to Cedar Landing Missionary Baptist Church in Windsor. A small team is being deployed to take care of this need.

For all locations, you can make contact at the above email/phone information. We are asking that volunteers who live close to these areas deploy first so we can follow COVID-19 precautions allowing us to utilize commuters. If you are in good health, are not high risk and have not been around anyone with COVID-19, you are welcome to contact one of the above coordinators to see how you can volunteer.
