Tropical Storm Fred

Baptists on Mission Disaster Relief is responding to help those in need in Haywood and surrounding counties from Tropical Storm Fred. Updates will be posted on the www.baptistsonmission.org website and on social media as we get more information. We anticipate needing trained and untrained volunteers as tear-out/mud-out, chainsaw and tarping teams. If you are certified in other Disaster Relief ministries (feeding, admin, assessment, etc.) please communicate your availability to your region or ministry leader.

COVID protocol – We encourage all deployed volunteers to have been vaccinated before deploying to decrease the risk of serious disease and to protect others around us. While inside houses, buildings, etc. all volunteers will wear masks and practice social distancing as best as possible. We will provide hand sanitizer and masks. Please prepare to bring your own as well. Thanks for volunteering as we help those in need in western NC.
