Western NC Flooding - Disaster Response Update

As of Friday, August 27, 2021 - In Haywood County, NC Baptist Disaster Relief has provided 3,167 hot meals; provided 167 showers; washed 169 loads of laundry; has completed 32 of the 159 job requests; has had 352 volunteers serving; has had 237 chaplain contacts and has had 6 people come to know Christ. Hundreds of homes and families were affected by the flooding. Please continue to pray for these families and churches. Please give and please come and help these families get back in their homes.

Baptists on Mission is planning for a long term rebuild effort in the Canton, NC area and we need you and your church or association to come and help. We are currently setting up a long term rebuild site where we can house, feed and work volunteers out of. We will need both skilled and unskilled volunteers.
