Contact local nursing homes to see if they are in need of bird feeders.
Gather a few volunteers to help in collecting bird feeders and delivering them.
Collect donations from church members and local businesses. Some stores like Lowe’s offer bird feeder recycling where anyone who brings in an old feeder gets a discount on a new one. Ask if you can have the recycled feeders.
As you deliver the bird feeders, stop by the nursing homes to chat with the residents.
