Volunteers are serving all over the world in a variety of ways. Join us for ministry in a variety of ways and in a variety of places outside the U.S.! There are many opportunities in places like Cuba, Haiti, Armenia, Romania, Kenya, Guatemala, Honduras, South Africa and other places.

Armenia

Armenia

NC Baptist Men and Women will continue with projects in Armenia in 2016. Teams going have helped the Baptist Union of Armenia to become one of the largest evengelical groups. Their needs are for help in purchasing or constructing of buildings. Funds are needed for renovation materials and labor to hire some Armenians to help with construction. The purpose of the project is to work with the Armenia Baptist Union and national churches to reach communities for Christ. VBS, men and ladies conferences, sports, glasses and health clinics are needed.

Guatemala

Guatemala

NCBM, working in cooperation with the Quiche Baptist Association in central Guatemala, will send teams to assist in the construction of a community health clinic and leadership training center in 2016 and beyond.

Haiti

Haiti

On January 12, 2010 Haiti was struck by a tremendous earthquake that caused extensive damage. NCBM Rescue 24 responded accordingly with a medical team as requested by a mission in Haiti. Since that initial team arrived, we have been sending teams to assist with the needs. From January 2010 until December 2014, the Lord worked through 1,500 construction and medical volunteers.

NCBM's office has been involved in a Partnership with the Eastern Baptist Convention of Cuba for several years. Volunteer teams from North Carolina will have the opportunity to engage in a number of construction project. Men, women and older students have a great opportunity worship, work with and get to know our Cuban Baptist brotherts and sisters.

Honduras

Honduras

NCBM has been sending volunteers to Honduras for the past fifteen years. The purpose of our being in Honduras is to partner with Honduran congregations in proclaiming the gospel of Christ. All teams (including construction) are encouraged to participate in evangelistic outreach to the community in which they work. This may include prayer walks, door-to-door visitation, the showing of the “Jesus” film, VBS or Backyard Bible Clubs for the children, etc. Most of our area of focus in 2016 will be south of Tegucigalpa, in and around the Choluteca area, as there are many needs in that area.

Kenya

Kenya

NCBM, working in partnership with the Baptist Convention of Kenya, will sponsor mission teams to the African nation of Kenya. The nature of the mission effort will be three-fold: 1) to aid in the construction of a girl's dormitory for the Nyeri Baptist High School; 2) to partcipate in a house-building/church planting effort in Western Kenya, and 3) to send evangelism/outreach teams to strategic areas of the country.

Roma People

NCBM will be doing projects in Hungary and Romania in 2016. Hungarian Baptist Aid and NCBM are working among Roma (Gypsy) people in Romania, Hungary and Ukraine.
