APPALACHIAN CHRISTMAS OUTREACH

Collection Sites for Appalachian Christmas Outreach
We still need your help in collecting and filling backpacks for distribution to children throughout the Appalachian region as part of Appalachian Christmas Outreach. Each backpack includes a variety of items, including a Bible and an insert that explains the Christmas story. For some, this may be the only Christmas gift they receive. Our goal is to collect and deliver 10,000 backpacks. It is not too late for your church to contribute to this effort! Over twenty collections sites have been set up across the state. We are asking churches to bring their filled backpacks to one of these sites on Saturday, November 5 . To see a list of collection sites, and for more information about the Appalachian Christmas Outreach, visit our website at: http://baptistsonmission.org/Missions/United-States/Appalachian-Coalfields/Appalachian-Christmas-Outreach

Red Springs and Shelby Mission Camps
Teams serving at Red Springs and Shelby Mission Camps have the opportunity to make an impact on people's lives. The Mission Camp Leadership will identify a project based on the current need and the skills of your team. While the service provided by teams is important in and of itself, the opportunity to build relationships, pray for, and minister to the community is the real purpose of the Mission Camps.
