Helene Rebuild Update
Thanks to the incredible work of volunteers, we've completed rebuilding 383 homes, with 264 in the process of being worked on and 1300 total requests at this point. We have rebuild centers in Spruce Pine, Burnsville, Black Mountain, East Flat Rock and Boone.

You can sign up to volunteer and help us offer hope to our neighbors in western NC. Volunteers will be needed in western NC for the next 4-5 years. Thank you for Praying, Giving and Going. 

NC Missions Offering
The NCMO supports all the ministries of Baptists on Mission and your generosity allows us to serve others in Jesus’ name. The goal for this year is $2.6 Million. Please encourage your church to promote and participate in the offering.

Upside Down Training
To be held on Saturday, November 1, 2025 at Green Street Baptist Church at 303 N. Rotary Drive, High Point. Basic Principles for Every Church to Strengthen Ministry in Their Community. Taught by trainers who cumulatively have over 100 years experience with under-resourced communities (and every community is under-resourced in some way)

9 am- 2 pm. Cost is $15 per person (includes lunch).

Mission Camps
Your church can make Christ visible to the community by serving at one of our mission camps in Rose Hill, Shelby or Red Springs.

Students and adults can build a wheelchair ramp, do VBS type ministry, provide meals to those in need and a lot more! You can serve for a day or a week.

Appalachian Christmas Outreach
One of the greatest ministry needs in this area occurs around Christmastime. BOM is calling on churches statewide to respond to this need through Appalachian Christmas Outreach 2025. Our goal is to collect 24,000 backpacks of items to be distributed to Appalachian children in areas of need in late November and December 2025. Statewide collection date will be Saturday, November 1. 

Health Screening and Dental Ministry
Consider hosting a Health Screening or Dental clinic as a community outreach event for your church. It's a great way to meet a physical need and share Jesus at the same time!
