Hurricane Matthew Rebuild
There are many Hurricane Matthew affected families waiting to return to their homes. We need volunteers to help with repairs such as replacing floors, roofs, sheetrock, doors, windows, etc. It is not too early to begin planning for a summer or fall team trip. We are currently working in 5 locations: Black River (Pender County), Goldsboro, Lumberton, Warsaw, and Windsor. To help, go to www.baptistsonmission.org/hurricanematthew.

 

Disaster Relief Training
The remaining 3 Disaster Relief Training events are: Rockingham County (April 21-22), Surry County (May 5-6), and Buncombe County (May 19-20). Volunteers that participate in the training receive disaster relief orientation of our history, policies, procedures, safety, stress management, evangelism, and hands-on training where possible. Deep Impact Missions Weeks
Deep Impact Missions Weeks are pre-packaged week long mission experiences sponsored by Baptists on Mission/NC Baptist Men. DI Kids Mission
DI Kids Mission weekends and week-long camps are pre-packaged mission experiences for children in grades 1st-5th and their leaders. Children and leaders will participate in a variety of mission opportunities including lite construction, community outreach, and others. Seminary Contruction Project in Cuba
In addition to construction and agriculture work at the retirement home in Santiago and church ministry projects throughout Cuba we are now enlisting construction teams to help build a new seminary in Santa Clara, Cuba. Armenia Partnership
Located in the midst of a region hostile to Christianity, Armenian Baptists are making a significant impact by planting churches and developing leaders.  There are five new church planters in Muslim areas seeking support ($150 per month) and in need of teams to help them impact their communities.  Contact Paul Langston at 919-604-4778 or plangston@ncbaptist.org to learn how you can partner with Armenian Baptists. http://baptistsonmission.org/Missions/Outside-US/Armenia

 

South Africa Partnership
You can help build a home for abandoned children in South Africa.  The Door of Hope has rescued over 1500 abandoned children since its beginning in 1999.  Baptist on Mission teams are building cottages at Hope Village will each house six children and a host couple.  For more information, contact Paul Langston at 919-604-4778 or plangston@ncbaptist.orghttp://baptistsonmission.org/Missions/Outside-US/South-Africa

 

The Health Screening Bus Ministry Needs Drivers!

Mobile Dental Ministry
The Mobile Dental Ministry is an effective tool for reaching your community for Christ. Churches can sponsor free dental clinics using a mobile dental unit provided by NCBM. Mission Teams Needed in Maine in 2017
Maine is one of our newest partnership areas. The need for the Gospel there is great! NC Baptists have the opportunity to make a difference in this beautiful, yet spiritually poor state, by working with church planters to reach people for Christ. Several VBS and evangelistic outreach projects need NC churches to respond. Men’s Outdoor Weekend at Caraway
Space is still available for you and the men of your church to join us for the Men’s Outdoor weekend on May 19-20 at Camp Caraway near Asheboro! We’ll begin Friday night with a message from Patrick Tyndall, director of Ironman Outdoor Ministries. Saturday morning includes ideas on beginning an outdoor ministry in your church, as well as demonstrations in archery, tomahawk throw, trapping, skeet, and more. Saturday afternoon features participation in target shooting, fishing, pistol shoot, archery, skeet, tomahawk throw, zip-line, and more. Appalachian Christmas Outreach 2017
Now is the time to start preparing for the Appalachian Christmas Outreach 2017. Our goal is to collect 10,000 backpacks of items to be distributed to Appalachian children in December. For many Appalachian children, this is only gift they may receive at Christmas. Collection areas will be set up across the state in November. Your church can also be paired with a church in Appalachia to distribute backpacks.
