2018 NC Missions Conference

Regional Rallies
Baptists on Mission will host a series of Mission Rallies across the state. These rallies will highlight the variety of opportunities churches have to be involved in missions across our state, in our nation, and around the world. Featured will be worship, testimonies, mission project/partnership updates, mission videos, and a prayer time for missions. A meal is provided at the NC Mission Rallies at no charge, but reservations are necessary to ensure an accurate meal count. For more information go to:

Hurricane Matthew
Hurricane Matthew Volunteers needed. We need construction volunteers to help with rebuild efforts in eastern NC. Thousands of homes were damaged by Hurricane Matthew in 2016. Puerto Rico
Teams are needed to build roof systems in the San Juan area for homeowners affected by Hurricane Maria. 1 week trips for team of 8-12. More info at:

Deep Impact
Deep Impact Missions Weeks are pre-packaged week-long mission experiences sponsored by Baptists on Mission/NC Baptist Men that provides Middle and High School students and their leaders with the opportunity to: “Share God's love with people through word and deed.” Youth and leaders will participate in a variety of mission opportunities including construction, VBS/Day Camps, sports evangelism, community outreach, prayer walks, and others. Health Screening Ministry
Clinic dates are still available for 2018. If your church is interested in hosting a health screening clinic as a community outreach opportunity, please contact Crystal Horton at 919-459-5610. Haiti Medical Teams
We are seeking medical personnel for a Haiti medical team the week of July 14-21, 2018. Volunteers are needed to assist Haitian physicians in a clinic setting. For additional information, visit us at:

Deep Impact Kids
DI Kids Mission weekends and week-long camps are pre-packaged mission experiences for children in grades 1st-5th and their leaders. Children and leaders will participate in a variety of mission opportunities including lite construction, community outreach, senior adult ministry, and others. Guatemala Children’s Cottage Construction
Teams are needed to assist with the construction of a cottage in Xela, Guatemala for at-risk children. Teams will have supervision and will work with Guatemalans on-site. Teams need three people with construction skills who can direct the work of the rest of team. Cottage is located on the site of the beautiful Good Shepherd Center, where teams will be housed and prepare their meals. For more information go to:

Vermont Needs Mission Teams
We have received many project requests from our sister state of Vermont – for evangelism, outreach, and construction. Many requests are for light (painting) and/or heavier (facility renovation) construction. Operation Inasmuch One Day Missions Blitz
Your church can make an impact on your community in just one day. Operation Inasmuch is a one day missions blitz that will move people out of their seats and into the streets. Projects can include construction of wheelchair ramps, laundromat ministry, retirement home visits, free lawn or car care, and a lot more! Suggested dates are April 28 or May 5, but choose a date that suits your church schedule. We will have Operation Inasmuch Information and Training Sessions in each region of the state from January 27 - March 3. For more information go to:

Construction Skills Training
Have you ever wanted to learn more about how to hang or finish sheetrock, frame a simple wall, or flooring? Construction Skills Trainings at Shelby and Red Springs Mission Camps will teach you the beginning steps in these and other tasks that are common at home, in disaster rebuild or handyman ministries, or on a construction site. Brings your family, youth group, or adult group and build relationships, learn, and prepare for future ministry! For more information go to:

Hungary English Bible Camp Team
Are you a school teacher or do you love to teach children? We are seeking a team of ten people to host an English Bible Camp in a public school in Hungary. The bible-based curriculum is provided for the one-week day camp held for grades 1-8. Your church can partner with the school for long-term impact. Mobile Dental Unit
Plans are underway to purchase a new mobile dental unit in 2018. This unit will replace the aging 2001 Bluebird Bus. NCBM has contracting with Lifeline Mobile to customize a dental unit similar to our 2011 mobile dental truck. An anonymous donor has matched $225,000 that has been donated so far.
