Hurricane Laura Update- 9/4/2020
Our Water Tanker arrived at Moss Bluff Baptist Church in Lake Charles, Louisiana and is providing clean water as meals are being prepared for people in need of a hot meal. We have chainsaw and clean up teams in Alexandria, Louisiana. Feeding volunteers from North Carolina are on go and have been assigned to a location to assist in feeding opportunities.

Hurricane Laura Update- We have been in contact with our partners on the ground in Louisiana. We are so thankful that many volunteers from NC want to go. At this time we are being asked to wait before traveling. We think in a week we will be able to send teams to do chainsaw and roof tarping. Please be patient as the infrastructure to handle teams is being set up and operational. Right now there is no electricity or water which is hampering the set-up of operation centers. Thanks for your understanding and patience as this is a slow process.

Thank you for praying for one of our Disaster Relief volunteers, Jimmy Walker, who drove a 6,000 gallon potable water tanker to Lake Charles, Louisiana today.

Updates will be posted here and on our Facebook page as we get more information.
