New Partnership with the Door of Hope in South Africa

8/31/2016

Door-of-Hope.jpgNCBM/ Baptists on Mission are beginning a new partnership with the Door of Hope in South Africa.  Since 1999 Door of Hope has rescued over 1500 infants who were abandoned in garbage cans, rivers, fields, and landfills.  Our Partnership will send teams to help build cottages on a farm just outside of Johannesburg that will become the Village of Hope.  Teams will make concrete blocks on site and then build the cottages, each housing six children and a host couple.  Three teams will be needed to complete each cottage with a projected cost per cottage of $30,000. Teams may also choose to assist a Zulu church planter in Winterton in the Central Drakensberg area as an extension to their trip or in lieu of building at the Village of Hope.

Cost of the trip is $50 per person per day + airfare+ material cost ($5000 per team minimum with $10,000 encouraged).  You do not need to have construction skills or experience to participate!
