Since 2007, NC mission teams have served throughout Pennsylvania and South Jersey in a variety of ways, including VBS, sports camps, backyard Bible clubs, block parties, music outreach, new construction, renovation, and more. Our teams serve alongside church planters and pastors, in both rural and urban areas. In addition to ministry expertise and resources, volunteer teams offer Christian encouragement and prayer - a valuable resource in a region where there is not a evangelical church on every corner. There is great excitement for the contribution volunteer mission teams are making in Pennsylvania-South Jersey!

2025 PENNSYLVANIA-SOUTH JERSEY REQUESTS are here, and awaiting your response! Follow these steps:
1. Start by clicking here to see a printable .PDF of 2025 Pennsylvania-South Jersey projects.
2. Once you have reviewed the list, pray about which project(s) you might want to respond to.
3. Contact Mark Abernathy (mabernathy@ncbaptist.org ; 919-459-5607) to express interest and get contact informaion.
4. You will be put in direct contact with the requestor in Pennsylvania-South Jersey to ask any and all questions.
5. If you and the requestor feel it is a good match, set a date with them for your team's service, and let Mark Abernathy know.
6. You will be sent instructions for securing the project (from the list below) on behalf of your team by registering as team leader.
Remember to check back from time to time as new projects will be added as they are recieved!

SPECIAL CONSTRUCTION NEEDS FOR 2025: Several teams are needed to assist in remodeling a strategic mission house used to host volunteers serving in Western Pennsylvania. Many projects are needed, including: 1) installing new siding and patching areas where squirrels might enter the building; 2) remodeling bathrooms and bedrooms, 3) basement wall repair’ 4) installing new flooring’ 5) various painting projects. Pennsylvania-South Jersey offers North Carolina Baptists an opportunity to serve Christ in a much-needed area of our nation. We will need teams to serve in 2025 throughout the area. Please pray about your participation in this ministry!
